Joyeux Noel!
Happy Holidays! Sorry for the long absence... this has been our busiest year ever, and while we're extremely thankful for that, it's been hard to keep up with everything! However, the year is now winding down to a close, and it's time to settle in for a long winter's nap- and maybe a new quilt project or two! We have LOTS of wonderful new books, patterns, and fabric to keep you happily stitching all winter long (that is, if we can get the snow to fly!) Speaking of two, the buzz around the shop is Katie has not one, but TWO new blocks-of-the-month on her brain! Help me, Rhonda! So, with that teaser, we wish you a very "Joyeux Noel" and a happy and prosperous New Year! Oh, almost forgot... what's your favorite Christmas carol? Leave a comment, and your name will be in our drawing for... Christmas secrets! You have until the 31st, and can enter as many times as you like! Peace and joy, Katie and Lisa

One favorite carol is Staffan War en Stalledrang, a Swedish carol. Here are the lyrics in Swedish and English:

"O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" has always been my favorite, but "O Come, All Ye Faithful" is a close second!
O come all ye faithful"
We wish you a Merry Christmas is also a favorite.
How can we not include White Christmas
"carole of the bells" has always been my favorite.
I also love "Oh Holy Night" and it was! Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful year with a better one to come.
