For all of these things, we are truly Thankful!

Our first gathering in our new room, and how appropriate it was to share a Thanksgiving meal together! It was wonderful to gather and share good food, gifts, laughter, and even some tears (good ones!). Katie and I are so very thankful for you, our customers and friends, who have made our shop such an enjoyable place to be! Aaannddd.... we're done!

Six days of cleaning and vacuuming, carrying and lugging, pushing and shoving, counting and measuring, laughing and groaning (Katie!), planning and changing, Lisa on the ladder, Katie at the displays- "that quilt still looks crooked!"- all the work has come down to our beautiful new room!! Isn't it gorgeous! We're like proud new parents! Please come visit us ASAP and see it for yourself; maybe sign up for a class or two in our spacious classroom! The Hole in the Wall Gang!!

Today was a very busy day at the shop- so busy, in fact, we locked the door and wouldn't let a single person in! It was all for a good cause, though, because by early afternoon, we were looking into our new classroom! And cleaning... and moving 300 or so bolts of fabric... and more cleaning... and pulling hundreds of pins/nails out of the wall... and goodness, this store is dirty!! More cleaning still! Well, tomorrow is a new day, and we'll be hard at it again, just so we'll be ready to open this Friday.
