Sue Spargo and Tulips!!!
We were incredibly fortunate to have the wonderfully talented Sue Spargo teach this week! Fifty ladies gathered over four days to learn all they could about thread embellishing- and the results were amazing!! Our project, African Tulip Tote, was specially created just for us by Sue, and we are over-the-moon excited about it!! The pattern, as well as a limited number of kits, are available for this project. Sue's newest book, Creative Stitches, is truly a must for executing the fabulous stitches that are a fanciful part of the bag. Well, this is just a little bit of what we've been up to for April... but there's lots more to come! So what have you been stitching away on? since Tuesday I have been stitching on the sue spargo project!!!
I love ask the pictures....looks like you ask had a great time. Do wish I could have been apart.
The class was sew fun. I only wish we could have had more days of learning the stitches. My bag turned out great, and I have gotten lots of compliments on it. (I have posted photos of it on my own blog.) Thank you for the wonderful retreat.
